Here at AmBrit Acres we are focused on providing the highest quality riding lessons, boarding, and training in Central Florida, specializing in Hunters, Equitation, and Jumpers. Our newly acquired facility is located in Anthony, Florida (North Ocala) central to WEC, HITS, and the Florida Horse Park, with an easy drive to Gainesville, Tampa, and Orlando.
We have moved to our new facility and can currently offer both pasture and stall board; training and lesson packages are also available. Contact us for availability.
LIZZIE TIRADO
Lizzie has been riding and loving horses since moving to Ocala at 5 years old. She spent her junior years training and showing a string of young, green horses on the local circuit including 8 years in 4H which culminated in ribbons at the State and Regional levels. She went on to earn a bachelor of science degree in Equine Studies and Business Management from Virginia Intermont College where she rode on all three teams (IHSA, IDA, and ANRC), assisting her team to an IDA National Championship in 2014.
Throughout college, Lizzie interned with and groomed for several top riders including Anne Kursinski (Market Street in Frenchtown, NJ), Corinne Hyde (Hyde Equine in County Cork, Ireland), and Kyle Carter (Ocala, FL). As a part of her formal education, she acquired an American Riding Instructor’s Association (ARIA) Level II certification specializing in equitation and hunt seat riding.
Post-college, Lizzie worked as a show groom and travelled the east coast on the A circuit. She eventually settled back in Ocala to get back to her love of training and teaching. Eventually she added “soldier” to her list of credentials when she enlisted in the Florida Army National Guard.
Lizzie has extensive experience training young riders and horses. She is very passionate about working with beginners and giving them a solid foundation in the sport. She believes in producing well-rounded horsemen from the ground up, equipped with the confidence and skills necessary to succeed in any avenue of the industry they decide to pursue.

PASTURE BOARD:

STALL BOARD:
$500 / HORSE / MONTH
We Provide
- 2 feedings per day
- Stall cleaning (shavings provided)
- Clean water troughs and buckets
- Individual turnout
- Access to facility during barn hours
You Provide
- Own feed/hay/supplements
- All grooming and extra care
FEED PACKAGE (Add-on Option):
$500.00 / HORSE / MONTH
- Feed – Purina Strategy GX and soaked beet pulp - 2 feedings a day
- Hay – Timothy / Orchard
- Electrolytes in the summer time
Any extra supplements, medications, special needs provided by owner
TRAINING PACKAGE (Add-on Option):
$400.00 / HORSE / MONTH
Includes:
- 5 training/fitness rides per week
- Can substitute 1 training ride per week for a lesson
Ideal for horses needing a consistent program: sales horses, owners with limited availability, young/project horses, etc.
AmBrit Acres Lesson Program
Lessons consist of:
- 1 hour ride time
- Flatwork and over fences dependent on rider's level
- Introduction to horse care and handling before and after as needed
- School horses available dependent on rider's level, or can ship-in own horse
Beginners will be taught to groom and tack before their ride time and properly put their horse away after.
As riders progress and gain experience, they will be able to get ready on their own and should be tacked and mounted for their ride time.
Private Lessons: $55
Group Lessons: $40/per rider
2-4 riders
Lesson Program Package: $400 pre-paid
2 lessons per week for 4 weeks
